Championship History
The Brazilian Championship began in 1927 in Rio de Janeiro, with João de Souza Mendes winning the first four editions and later adding more titles. Early championships moved between match and tournament formats.
The modern record book includes repeated champions such as Jaime Sunye Neto, Gilberto Milos, Rafael Leitão, Giovanni Vescovi, Alexandr Fier, and Luis Paulo Supi.
The 2025 championship was the 91st Brazilian Absolute Championship and was played in Timbó, Santa Catarina. Luis Paulo Supi scored 9/11 to win his third national title.
