Chess Tournaments

We select notable international, national, and open chess events, then organise tournament coverage by status. Current events appear first, followed by upcoming tournaments and completed events. Events with a green Live marker are actively receiving game moves, so you can quickly find current action alongside future events and recent results.

Tournament formats vary: classical, rapid, blitz, Chess960, Swiss-system opens, round robins, and team competitions can all appear here. Each tournament page brings together its dates and location with the event format, standings, round-by-round coverage, and playable games when they are available.
