Frank Marshall challenged Lasker in a championship spread across six American cities. This was Lasker’s first title defence since his rematch against Steinitz a decade earlier. The winning target was eight decisive games.

Lasker reached that target without losing a game. Eight wins and seven draws produced an 11½–3½ points score. The complete collection includes all of the draws, preserving the sequence of the champion’s successful defence.

All 15 played games appear below in match order. The game records preserve the archive’s player names, round numbers and dates, including unknown date components. Select either player in the embedded trainer to work through the decisions from that side. A drawn game remains a complete exercise for both players.
